MedStar Fly Along

Students are invited to join the MedStar Helicopter service for 1 shift as an observer.  The flight will be in addition to your 16 scheduled shifts.  Flight days are optional and do not factor into grading.  In order to fly along, you must submit the form attached below (at the bottom of the page) to the Chief Resident on the first day of your rotation.  They will contact the appropriate faculty and administrators to ensure a successful day.

Shifts will be from 9am to 3pm or 3 pm. to 9 pm.

To fly along, you must:

Weigh under 220 lbs

Wear navy pants and a polo shirt

Above the ankle boots are MANDATORY

The day of your ride along:
