There is a lot of opportunities to learn on this rotation and we have a variety of educational experiences during your month.
Resident Didactics:
You are also required to attend the resident didactic sessions held every Thursday from 8:00AM to 12:00PM. Most Thursdays, there will be a 7AM lecture just for students as well (see below). The modular reading assignments can be found on this side under "Modules". Each week, choose which module interests you the most and read those chapters ahead of time to prepare for conference. You can access Tintinalli's through the Hospital Library system - ACCESS EM. Be sure to read in advance and come ready to participate in a lively discussion filled with clinical pearls.
